Don’t know if you heard, but Vanessa’s Grandpapa passed away on January 4. The amazing thing is that he accepted Jesus the day before his death. Veronica, Vanessa’s mom, was able to lead him to the Lord. While Vanessa was torn about not being able to fly out for the funeral (due to costs – most expensive time of the year), she gained great hope and peace when she heard the news of grandpapa’s yes to Jesus. I’ve often wondered about the thief on the cross story and how God’s grace and mercy are available until our last dying breath. Praise God. May God use grandpapa’s death to help them reflect on the question of life after death…
